Our technicians are key members of our multidisciplinary team who can assist the team in delivering exceptional clinical services.

Salary

Competitive, based on experience to include additional company benefits, such as private medical insurance, income protection, enhanced pension, and additional buy back holidays (after qualifying period).

Primary location Bredbury, Manchester with additional support across clinics if required

Contract type

Permanent full-time position, 40 hours a week

Job Description

We are pleased to offer an exciting role as part of our technical team within the multi-disciplinary service in our Manchester Clinic. The candidate would be working alongside Prosthetists and Physiotherapists to ensure a holistic provision of rehabilitation. The successful candidate will be part of a team of six Manchester based technicians.

Candidates should have a minimum of five years technical experience in prosthetics or orthotic manufacture. A strong understanding of health and safety within a workshop environment and ability to work with Information technology is also required.

A dynamic and proactive approach to self-development, with a keen desire to learn and expand your manufacturing skills is essential.

Essential Requirements:

  • 3 Years prosthetic or Orthotic Technician Experience
  • IT literate

The successful candidate will be required to:

  • Provide orthoses as required
  • Liaise with management team, case managers and solicitors
  • Record and update medical records
  • Work alone and alongside a multi-disciplinary team
  • Record outcome measures and contribute to auditing, research and development
  • Have a full UK driving licence
