Elaine joined the team at our Manchester clinic 4 years ago after spending 10 years working in the NHS.

Elaine discovered the wonderful world of prosthetics after an interesting discussion with a career’s adviser opened her eyes to the amazing treatment solutions available to amputees and people with limb difference.

After graduating from Strathclyde University in 2008, Elaine embarked on her adventure at the Queen Mary’s Hospital in Roehampton. Whilst there, Elaine worked mainly with patients with lower limb difference but developed a healthy interest in upper limb prosthetic solutions.

Elaine continued her career at the Specialised Ability Clinic Manchester, where her involvement and experience with paediatric care and upper limb provision continued to develop.

Now working for Dorset Orthopaedic, Elaine has the continued opportunity to treat patients both with upper limb and lower limb difference and is keen to further develop the service, provide the highest level of care and develop her skills and expertise with new technological advancements.

When she is not helping her patients, Elaine enjoys renovating her home, going for long walks in the countryside and pottering in the garden.
