Hakim joined our Amersham clinic in 2020 as a prosthetist. After completion of his BSc in Prosthetics and Orthotics, Hakim worked as clinical prosthetist/orthotist for over 3 years in Afghanistan.

In 2001, Hakim joined the NHS prosthetic team at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore, one of the few Murrison centre in UK providing prosthetic rehabilitation support to veterans allowing him to have access to latest technologies/components in prosthetics, where he has provided technical and clinical support to a diverse and often challenging case load of prosthetic patients and veterans working within a well-established multi-disciplinary team before moving onto Dorset Orthopaedic.

Hakim believes that nothing can give you the same job satisfaction and joy which being a prosthetist can after seeing someone walk for the first time in years and being part of their journey. He also loves the freedom of prescribing products which are clinically appropriate for patients without restraints.

Outside of work, Hakim is a keen Volleyball player and loves spending time with his family.
