Early Treatment

Cerebral palsy (CP) is a lifelong condition. While it doesn’t worsen over time, it is not curable, meaning individuals with CP may require ongoing support to manage their symptoms and maintain mobility. This support can include a range of interventions, from custom orthotic devices to regular physiotherapy sessions, helping to improve movement, reduce discomfort, and enhance overall quality of life.

Supporting Children with CP

The causes of CP are multifactorial and diverse, often leaving families with many questions about how the diagnosis will impact daily life. Our expert team, alongside your doctor, is here to provide guidance, answer your concerns, and develop a personalised treatment plan. With the right support and therapies, we can help your child reach their full potential and enjoy the quality of life they deserve.

Symptoms of CP

Cerebral Palsy (CP) affects movement, muscle tone, and coordination, with symptoms varying from mild to severe. Common symptoms include muscle stiffness (spasticity), involuntary movements, poor balance, and difficulty with motor skills such as walking, grasping objects, or speaking. Some individuals may also experience seizures, developmental delays, or issues with vision and hearing. Symptoms typically appear in early childhood and do not worsen over time, though their impact can change as a child grows.
