Rosie graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2013 with a degree in Physiotherapy. She began her career in the NHS, completing a range of junior rotations where she developed a broad foundation of skills, before discovering her passion for amputee rehabilitation.

To further specialise, Rosie completed a master’s degree in Amputee and Prosthetic Rehabilitation at the University of Southampton in 2021. Over the past decade, she has worked in NHS prosthetic centres across both England and Scotland and has also gained experience in the private sector with Dorset Orthopaedic Manchester.

Rosie is an active member of the Scottish Physiotherapy Amputee Research Group (SPARG), contributing to the annual report that analyses data from all amputees across Scotland. She particularly enjoys working as part of a skilled, multidisciplinary team, helping individuals maximise their potential following amputation or lower limb trauma - a role she considers both a privilege and highly rewarding.

Outside of work, Rosie enjoys spending time with her family, running, being outdoors, and keeping active.
