Nikki has been working in amputee rehabilitation for over 11 years now after 5 years gaining experience in numerous areas of physiotherapy.

Nikki has worked with patients throughout all stages of their rehabilitation journey and has a wealth of experience working with patients suffering from phantom pain. She has helped develop and run the osseointegration service in Glasgow.

She was part of the physiotherapy team who set up the Scottish Specialist Prosthetic Service and was co-author of the WestMARC prosthetic knee guide microprocessor knee chapter.

Nikki is an active member of the Scottish Physiotherapy Amputee Research Group (SPARG), having taken on numerous roles. The group continues to measure outcomes of rehabilitation for people who acquire amputation in Scotland.

Nikki loves problem solving to optimise patient independence and helping them reach their goals whether that is cooking a meal at home or returning to paddle boarding!

Out of work, Nikki enjoys being outdoors either with her young family or running and cycling. She enjoys cooking and loves having a full house!
