During these unprecedented times we wanted you to know that we are still here for you and now more than ever if you need help with movement, mobility, pain or even just social interaction we are at the end of a phone or e-mail.
Although Physio is a pretty hands on job there are still lots of ways we can help you during this difficult time. If you would like to have a virtual Physio assessment please email me firstname.lastname@example.org to book your free of charge appointment.
The subjective bit of a Physio assessment where we ask all the questions is often where we get the best idea of what’s wrong and what areas we need to develop. Via video call we can still make an assessment by asking you to perform a movement. You can even get whoever your lock-down buddy is to video you walking and email it over for review. After our virtual Physio session we can send over a bespoke exercise plan with video examples of what you can do and I can then regularly check in with how you are doing.
Even if you just want to chat through your concerns and clarify what you can and should be doing during this time then please feel free to contact me. We’ve also got content being posted on our website under Physio Facts with tips on how to stay healthy and mobile, some example workouts and other bits and bobs of advice. We strive for better at Dorset Orthopaedic and although we may not be able to see you in person we want you all to know that we are always here for you.
