Where are our orthotic clinics?

We have an orthotic clinic in Ringwood, Hampshire, and a regular visiting clinic in Birmingham, UK.

 

How much would my orthosis cost?

It's very difficult to provide an accurate cost as it depends on your particular needs and situation. First, we'll need to meet you for a consultation. The Orthotist will then assess and discuss your requirements and provide you with an estimate.

 

How long must I wait for an appointment?

Not long at all. We can arrange an appointment within two or three weeks of contacting us.

 

Can I try on orthotics at the consultation stage?

Yes, sometimes we have certain products that you can try.

 

How many appointments will I need?

This depends on the orthotic product you need. Some orthotics require two appointments. However, more complex items such as a Knee Ankle Foot Orthosis (KAFO) or footwear may require three or more appointments.

 

Can I obtain funding for orthotics?

If funding may be an issue for you, you can explore funding from NHS Hospital Trusts and Primary Care Trusts, we also have a finance package to allow you to distribute the cost of your treatment over a longer time frame. Can I claim through BUPA?

Yes, you can claim for consultations through BUPA. However your cover will generally not normally pay for the supply of orthotics.
