Exclamation Dropped foot after hip surgery

I recently wrote to a Sunday paper after reading a letter seeking advice from someone newly experiencing a dropped foot. I recommended a Dorset Orthopaedic SAFO like mine, and the scale of response has made me realise how many people lack information about this. Happy to discuss with anyone considering a SAFO or who has one already - you are not alone!

Question Dropped foot due to MS.

Hi, I have a dropped foot due to MS. I'm considering a safo but as a woman, I am wondering if I would be able to wear it in my normal sized shoes. I usually wear a size 7 . Is this SAFO like a second skin or is it bulky? Also is it very warm in hot weather?
