Charity Helps Injured Firefighters Return to Work
TOWNSFOLK can have their car washed while supporting two worthy causes this Saturday, June 23.
Bromsgrove Fire Station, in Windsor Street, is hosting the car wash between 10am-2pm, which is raising cash for the Fire Service Benevolent Fund.
The charity helps injured firefighters and among those it has supported is Bromsgrove crew commander Simon Hawkins.
Simon had a below knee amputation, but became the first in Europe to return to front line duty after being fitted with a state-of-the-art prosthetic limb.
The Support Air Fund Education foundation is also being supported. The charity supports indigenous communities, across the world, improving their quality of life.
